Sitemap Generator

A XML sitemap supports search engines by gathering your website and should thus be provided for every website. Google, for example, recommends sitemaps especially for larger websites. From my own experience, I can tell you that a sitemap also supports the indexing process of smaller websites. You could create a sitemap of your website for free with this sitemap generator.

How does the generator work?

The sitemap generator uses an external service to crawl your website and create a sitemap of your website. The generator works thus for every website, no matter which CMS you use. The computation costs for your website is very low because the crawler acts like a normal visitor, who visits all pages once.

How do I use the sitemap generator?

Just insert the URL of your website inside the input field and press the "Generate sitemap" button to generate a sitemap of your website.

The generator crawls up to 500 pages by default. If your website is larger, you have to option to create a empty file called allow-sitemap-generator.html in the root folder of your website to unlock the crawling of up to 2500 pages.

If the crawling of your website is to slow, please check if you have set a high value for the crawl-delay in your robots.txt file.

Please note that it is important to provide the protocol, thus http:// or https://, in the websites address.
